Aglianico

The Aglianico is a very ancient kind of grapevine, introduced in Italy by Greek people. One of the historical evidence about this typical wine is a bronze coin, of IV century b.C., reproducing the rural deity Dionisio. A great classic of Irpinia's wine producing, today it is considered one of the most important red wine in the national production.
